Priorities

(Luke 19:10 KJV) For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

Howard Hendricks tells a story about a company in Chicago that went bankrupt only a year after making a two-million-dollar profit. The reason was because they failed to understand the first business of their company. They thought their primary business was bobby pins, when in reality it was hair care. So, when women stopped using bobby pins, the company folded.

Our primary business and focus is to seek and to save the lost. God has left you and I on this planet to tell someone else how to inherit eternal life. God wants to use you to introduce someone to Christ.

God wants us to be effective. To be effective it requires that I prioritize my witnessing. Witnessing for Christ should be a major priority in my life.
